Treatment and Effects
Treatment involves the precise injection of small amounts of botulinum toxin into selected muscles. The substance temporarily blocks the transmission of signals between nerves and muscles.

Before Treatment
The use of blood-thinning medication should be discussed with your treating physician prior to treatment. Alcohol consumption should be minimized in the days leading up to the procedure.
After Treatment
Temporary small bumps at the injection sites or, in rare cases, minor bruising may occur.
For approximately 24 hours after treatment, strenuous exercise, alcohol, nicotine, sauna visits, and massage of the treated area should be avoided.
Contraindications
Treatment should not be performed in cases of:
• Pregnancy or breastfeeding
• Infection at the treatment site
• Allergy to any ingredient of the product
• Certain neuromuscular disorders
