UltraClear™ Laser Vienna
UltraClear™ Laser Vienna
Precise Skin Resurfacing
The UltraClear™ Laser enables precise and controlled skin resurfacing while simultaneously stimulating the body's natural collagen production.
The treatment is particularly suitable for improving wrinkles, pigmentation irregularities and loss of skin elasticity on the face as well as other areas of the body.
Doctrice is currently the only practice in Austria offering treatments with the UltraClear™ Laser. The system is based on a fractional 2910 nm fibre laser and allows targeted skin resurfacing while gently stimulating collagen production.
Unlike traditional CO₂ laser treatments, the UltraClear™ Laser causes significantly less thermal damage to the surrounding tissue. This generally results in shorter downtime and a gentler recovery process.
Its proprietary Cold Ablation Technology™ operates with minimal heat generation and may, depending on the individual skin condition, be used throughout the year, including during the summer months.
At Doctrice Vienna, treatment can be performed at different intensity levels depending on the treatment goals — from superficial skin resurfacing with minimal downtime, to moderate laser resurfacing for improving skin texture and elasticity, to more intensive treatments for collagen stimulation and the improvement of pronounced wrinkles and scars.
Treatment parameters are individually tailored to each patient based on a detailed skin analysis and the desired outcome.

Treatment Areas
The UltraClear™ Laser is used to treat a variety of skin concerns and improve overall skin quality.
Common treatment areas include:
• Fine lines and wrinkles
• Uneven skin texture
• Sun damage and pigmentation irregularities
• Enlarged pores
• Acne scars and other scars
• Loss of skin elasticity
Treatment can be performed on the face as well as the neck, décolleté and other areas such as the hands.
Treatment Levels
The UltraClear™ Laser offers different treatment levels that can be individually selected based on the patient's skin condition and treatment goals.
3DMIRACL® (Superficial Skin Resurfacing)
A gentle resurfacing treatment that removes superficial dead skin cells with minimal downtime. It is suitable for refining skin texture, improving skin quality and radiance, and creating a fresh, even complexion. The treatment can also be used preventively ("prejuvenation") and may be performed year-round.
UltraClear™ (Light Intensity – Moderate Resurfacing)
Moderate laser resurfacing for the targeted treatment of early skin changes. Multiple skin layers are addressed to improve skin texture, elasticity, pigmentation irregularities and fine lines. The treatment may also be used for acne scars and uneven skin texture.
UltraClear™ (Medium Intensity – Deep Resurfacing)
A deeper treatment designed to stimulate collagen remodeling within the dermis. The goal is structural skin improvement in cases of more pronounced wrinkles, scars and loss of elasticity. Particularly suitable for more advanced signs of skin ageing.
Laser Coring™ (Highest Intensity – Targeted Tissue Tightening)
The most intensive treatment level with additional tissue-tightening effects. By combining superficial resurfacing with deeper collagen stimulation, comprehensive improvements in skin texture, firmness and contours can be achieved.
Recovery time may be slightly longer compared to lower-intensity treatments.
Further information about the technology and image material can be found on the manufacturer's website.
Treatment Procedure and Effects
The UltraClear™ Laser creates microscopic treatment zones within the skin, stimulating controlled regeneration and collagen remodeling.
Its proprietary Cold Ablation Technology™ enables precise skin resurfacing while minimizing thermal impact on the surrounding tissue. Depending on the selected treatment intensity, downtime may remain relatively short while targeted skin renewal and collagen stimulation are initiated.
The treatment can improve skin texture, firmness, elasticity and overall skin quality. Depending on the indication and treatment intensity, improvements continue to develop over the following weeks and months.
Treatment intensity and treatment intervals are individually determined based on a detailed analysis of the skin condition and the desired treatment goals.

Before and After Treatment
Before Treatment
Direct sun exposure should be avoided before treatment. Consistent use of high-SPF sunscreen is recommended, especially before and after aesthetic laser treatments. Tanning beds and active tanning should also be avoided.
Potentially irritating active ingredients such as retinol or fruit acids should be paused several days before treatment.
Photosensitizing medications should be discussed with the treating physician in advance if necessary.
On the day of treatment, the skin should be well moisturized. Adequate hydration is also recommended.
After Treatment
Careful aftercare supports optimal healing. The skin should be treated gently and protected consistently.
High-SPF sun protection is essential. Direct sun exposure should be avoided for at least eight weeks.
For several days, the following should be avoided:
• intense physical activity
• sauna, heat and steam baths
• irritating skincare products
Make-up can usually be worn again once the skin has fully healed.
During the first days, the skin should be:
• kept consistently moisturized and cared for, for example with recommended regenerative ointments
• cleansed gently several times daily
• cooled if needed
Depending on treatment intensity, mild vinegar-water compresses, such as a diluted vinegar solution, may help support regeneration.
Healing Process and Regeneration
After treatment, the skin undergoes a controlled regeneration process. During this time, the skin renews itself and collagen remodeling is stimulated.
Downtime and healing vary depending on the treatment intensity and individual healing response.
Immediately After Treatment
Redness similar to sunburn and a sensation of warmth are common. Mild to moderate swelling may occur, especially in sensitive areas.
Depending on treatment intensity, pinpoint bleeding or slight oozing may occur.
Cooling may feel soothing during the first hours.
First Few Days
As healing progresses, the skin may develop a fine, rough texture similar to sandpaper.
Peeling and superficial crusting may occur while new skin forms.
During this phase, the skin should be cared for gently and protected from external irritation.
Rubbing, exfoliation and other forms of mechanical irritation should be avoided.
After Several Days
The healing process is generally largely complete.
The skin may appear smoother and more even, although mild redness or increased sensitivity can still persist.
Most patients are socially presentable again after several days, depending on treatment intensity and individual healing response.
Following Weeks and Months
Skin texture continues to improve. Due to ongoing collagen remodeling, skin quality, firmness and elasticity can improve progressively over several weeks to months.
Contraindications
Treatment should be avoided in cases of:
• Active skin infections, such as herpes
• Open wounds or inflammatory skin conditions
• Recent intense sun exposure or heavily tanned skin
• Use of photosensitizing medications
• Recent intensive treatments in the same area, such as laser procedures or chemical peels
• Pregnancy
• Tendency toward impaired wound healing or keloid formation
An individual medical assessment is performed during the personal consultation preceding every treatment.
